Ansio privacy policy
This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit, subscribe, register, or make a purchase fromhttps://ansio.ai(the "Site").
Personal information we collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and cookies installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual pages you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and how you interact with the Site. We call this automatically-collected information "Device Information."

- Log Files – Track actions on the Site and collect IP address, browser type, ISP, referring/exit pages, and timestamps.

When you sign up, subscribe, or interact with the Site, we collect information such as your name, email address, company name, phone number, and any other relevant data necessary to provide our services and communicate with you.
How we use your personal information
We use the collected Order Information to:
- Process your orders, payments, and generate invoices

- Screen for potential fraud or risks
- Provide you with information or promotions related to our services, when aligned with your preferences

Sharing your personal information
We share your Personal Information with trusted third-party service providers to help us operate effectively:

- Payment processors (PayPal, Stripe)
Google user data and Google API Services
When you choose to connect your Google Calendar to Ansio, you authorize us through Google OAuth to access your calendar so our AI receptionist can check availability and book appointments on your behalf. We request the minimum scopes needed for this feature and nothing more — we do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or any other Google data.
What we access and why:
- Google Calendar — read access – We read your existing calendars and events so the AI receptionist can find open times and avoid double-booking before it offers an appointment to a caller. (Scope: calendar.readonly)
- Google Calendar — event management – We create, update, reschedule, and cancel the appointment events that the AI books on your behalf during calls, and keep them in sync with your Ansio account. (Scope: calendar.events)
How we store and protect it:
Your Google authorization tokens are stored encrypted at rest and are used only to provide the calendar features described above. We do not store the full contents of your calendar; we read it only as needed to check availability and to manage the appointments the AI books for you.
Limited Use:
Ansio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. We use it solely to provide and improve the calendar-booking features you have enabled.
Revoking access:
You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your Ansio account settings, or revoke Ansio's access directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions. When you disconnect, we delete the stored Google authorization tokens. Any Google data is also removed when you delete your Ansio account, in line with the data-retention period described below.
Your rights
Wherever you live, including Canada (under PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25) and the European Economic Area, you have rights over your personal information:
- You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted.
- You can withdraw your consent or ask us to stop using your information at any time.
- To make a request, email [email protected] with your name and the phone number or email tied to your account. We confirm your identity first, then respond within 30 days.
Do not track
Please note, we do not alter our Site's data collection practices when we detect a "Do Not Track" signal from your browser.
Data retention
We retain your data for 30 days after account cancellation, after which it is securely deleted unless you request earlier deletion.
Minors
Our Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
